As a Squarespace web designer and Circle member for over 13 years… I believe Squarespace is the best fit for most small business owners and creatives because it's easy to use and requires zero manual updates. Compared to WordPress, Squarespace is a huge timesaver. Hacking isn’t an issue. It's fast, secure, mobile-friendly, SEO-friendly, and less expensive in the long run.

There are additional costs related to running a website that fall outside my standard design packages.

As a Squarespace Circle Member, my clients receive 20% off their first year and one year of free custom domain hosting for new domains.

Squarespace has a monthly or annual fee. Generally around $270 a year. This is considered the hosting fee. To own a domain costs are $12-$20 a year. A custom domain email address is around $7 a month.

Third-party integrations such as email marketing, stock imagery, custom fonts, scheduling platforms, Google Business Suite, Annual Domain hosting, and CRMs are additional to my packages. These are things we can sort through on our discovery call.

Custom Website Design Projects take anywhere from 3-12 weeks to complete depending on your overall needs.

I'm often booked out for a few months at a time. Once you choose a start date and sign your contract, you'll receive my welcome package and then start collecting logos, branding, images, and copy until your project begins. Most clients need this extra time to complete the client ‘homework’ before their start date.

I can! Part of my client process involves detailed guides or ‘homework’ that ask questions, and walk you through branding, ideal clients, hopes, dreams, stories, and more. These help us work together to craft the copy for your website.

The text or copy on your website is often more important than the visuals and Google loves the right words!

Understanding how to speak to your audience, create an amazing sales page, and tell your story is all part of my process.

If you want to hire a copywriting expert I can offer referrals for this as well.

When you sign your contract you will be prompted to pay one of three equal payments.

Your first payment is due at booking to retain your project date.

The second payment is due on your start date.

Your final payment is due on the project's end date.

Once your website is complete, I will hand off the site’s ownership to you.

You will be empowered to manage your website (unlike WordPress). I will provide you with a live and recorded video tutorial explaining the key areas of your website.

Each custom website design project comes with 30 days of support in case you get stuck and need help.

If you need updates or monthly maintenance... I do offer previous clients hourly and VIP Days at a discount. We will discuss maintenance options before launching your site.
